Would highly recommend this property. The owners go above and beyond to make you welcome, a lovely welcome pack plus a small gift for the children and in our case there were six! So chocolate oranges were a real treat for them. Lots of extras including games, dvds and some beach equipment All home comforts provided, excellent decor throughout and outdoor patio furnishing to complete the setting. Also excellent communication with the owner prior to our stay.
Beautiful House and Location
What a beautiful house and location to stop at in Filey!! The house is immaculate and stunning, plenty of room, and very very accommodating for dogs, babies and toddlers. Also a fully equipped kitchen and a lovely welcome box. The house is only few minutes walk to the pub, restaurant, shop and pools, with only a few more minute walk to the stunning clean beach! Suzie was very attentive and helpful when needed, and very quick responses, wonderful host! It could not have been any more perfect for a family break away would definitely look to book again!!
Tastefully Decorated and well thought out
A wonderful house for a seaside stay. Tastefully decorated and well thought out all through, the house backs onto a patio and a boules Court. The kitchen has plenty of everything, so we could cook a meal and have drinks all day without having to put the dishwasher on after every meal. The welcome pack even had a bottle of wine and chocolates, plus a gift for the children. It was definitely the best welcome pack we have ever had.
Truly a beautiful house in a holiday village near to the beach, excellent for a family holiday.
The House was Simply Perfect
Suzie was an excellent host great communication at all times. The house was simply perfect. Absolutely spotlessly clean with an abundance of towels and so well stocked in the kitchen. A lovely welcome pack with essentials was greatly appreciated and a lovely touch. Beds were extremely comfortable. I would highly recommend this accommodation- we had a great time.

Great location, very peaceful with lots of outdoor space to explore. Suzie left a very generous welcome pack and the house itself has everything you might need. Highly recommended.
Perfect for 2 families with 4 kids and 2 dogs
Fabulous house to stay in. Exceptionally clean, modern spacious house perfect for 2 families with 4 kids and 2 dogs. Lots of kitchen equipment and dishwasher was a great addition. Walking distance from on site pub and beach five minutes away. Highly recommend.
From the moment we got there, we know we were going to love it
The house is incredible and from the moment we got there, we knew we were going to love it. It was so clean and spacious and the decorations are wonderful. I would call it home-away-from-home, apart from it’s more than that. There are luxuries that you wouldn’t have in your own house- the hamper, the shower gels, hand soap, bedding and pillows!
It’s location at The Bay is ideal. We will definitely be back again.
Wonderful few days with friends
We’re just back from a wonderful few days with friends. The house was perfect for what we needed and we enjoyed cooking in the well stocked kitchen, walks to the beach and taking the kids swimming. We also spent half a day in Scarborough and visited the Filey bird park down the road. Thanks for having us!
Great cosy winter weekend. Lovely and tastefully decorated. Owner had gone the extra mile to make it a home from home. From a wonderful welcome pack to Netflix and even games for the beach which is within walking distance.
Immaculately clean and well presented. One of the best stocked holiday homes we have stayed in. Bed was so comfortable and I usually don't sleep at all when away. Welcome basket was very generous and needed on arrival after a long drive. One hundred percent recommend to anyone.
Just came back from our stay at Meadowside House, what an amazing place, the house is fantastic, you don't want for anything, Suzie, you have thought of everything, 10-15 min walk to the pub and beach, the dog absolutely loved it, couldn't get her out the sea, would definitely go back there, so clean and tidy, 5 stars.
We’ve just had an amazing weekend. The communication throughout the booking process was exemplary and Suzie was very friendly and informative. The house itself was immaculate and very welcoming for a weekend of relaxing and family time - the little extra touches (welcome hamper was amazing!!) were very thoughtful.
We stayed at Meadowside House for a long weekend to celebrate my grandma’s 80th. The house is spacious and felt plenty big enough for 8 adults, a baby and 2 dogs! Suzie was responsive and really helpful throughout, and exceeded our expectations as a host... The location is perfect with just a short walk down to the beautiful beach. Would highly recommend.
70th Birthday Celebration
We booked this cottage on The Bay, Filey for a special family break to celebrate a 70th birthday. The oldest member of the party was 70 and the youngest 2 years old. Everyone was catered for. Suzie, the owner, has tried to think of everything you would need including a lovely welcome pack with quality basics such as coffee, tea, milk and biscuits and a bottle of wine.
Fantastic stay, this place just has everything you could possibly think of and more! Lovely and clean and comfy, excellent facilities on The Bay and so many lovely thoughtful little touches in the house. We visited for a family birthday with kids and dogs in tow and it could not have been more perfect!
We recently had a lovely weekend in Meadowside House with extended family. The house is spacious that there was plenty of room for the 9 of us, everything was clean and fresh, all decor in great condition and so so so well equipped, every little detail has been thought about.
Fabulous holiday homes, beautifully decorated from furniture to soft furnishings. The welcome basket is a real treat, the crockery and glassware is excellent, they have thought of everything. You are short of nothing. My daughter loved playing with the toys in the trunk. We will definitely be returning.

A lovely, cosy home with all the finishing touches that you could need for a break away at the coast. From the great welcome hamper, to the selection of beach toys and board games for the evening, Suzie had though of everything. We'll be recommending to others!
We went over May half-term with 2 families. The rooms were the perfect combination for 5 adults and 3 children. Great WiFi connection, comfortable living space including dining area and was lovely being able to eat breakfast outside one morning when it was warm enough.
